Gillian believed in Positive Reward Based Training. Simply put, dogs learn good behavior by being rewarded for doing well. This method still forms the basis for all our training.

In 2018, Gillian decided to retire and sold Who’s Walking Who to Lynda Kitson. She had been a Trainer with Who’s Walking Who since 2009 and has been involved with dogs all her life.

Lynda also strongly believes in positive reward based training. Like many things, dog training continues to evolve. As a result, we have added Games Based Concept Training into our programs. The games have been developed by Absolute Dogs in the U.K. This training builds an even stronger bond between dog and owner and produces more solid real-life results.

Lynda teaches many of our classes and developed our Freestyle Obedience course. She is a Certified Walks ‘N’ Wags Pet First Aid Instructor and founded K9 Compass in 2012 through which she conducts Pet First Aid courses at various locations outside the GTA. Lynda is continually upgrading her knowledge in dog training and behaviour and was recently certified as a Pro Dog Trainer through Absolute Dogs She is also an active volunteer with Golden Rescue and writes articles for their newsletter, The Guardian.
