Practical Living Life Skills Practical Living is a Life Skills class for dogs covering topics needed for everyday life. This course will concentrate on training related to regular day to day experiences in all types of environments. In this class, we build on the foundations learned in Family Dog Beginners and challenge our dogs to become even more well mannered so that they are welcome anywhere. It will also help prepare your dog for the Canine Good Neighbour test or for going into Therapy work if this is your goal. Included in this course are: impulse control, boundary work, door bell and door knocking disengagement, coming away from distractions, engagement with you, bringing excitement levels down, emergency stays and more. You will also receive, free of charge, our Practical Living videos. Classes are held each week on the same day and time that you sign up for. Each class is 45 minutes in length. Classes are not held on weekends with statutory holidays but will resume the following week. PLEASE BE SURE TO SELECT THE CORRECT LOCATION.
