Scent Detection - Level 1 JANUARY 19 & 28 ARE THE LAST CLASSES BEING OFFERED IN 2025. Scent Detection is well suited for dogs of all ages, breeds and temperaments. Although it is a group class, the work you do with your dog will be done individually. It develops focus and confidence and is an amazing way to enhance the dog/handler bond. Dogs love to use their nose, and this course will give them an opportunity to really show us what they are capable of! In this class your dog will learn how to recognize the Wintergreen scent. Week 6 will be your Designated Odour Test at which time your dog will search 12 containers and alert you to the odour. Your dog does not need to pass the Designated Odour Test to move on to Level 2.
